Will it ever be possible for the MPC to play soundfonts or MP3s? I am asking this before I put it on the request page. Also is it possible to have an undo option while in the chop/trim window? Let me know if anyone would find these requests useful/necessary? Thank You

Maybe in 30 years from now.

No undo for now, so, work with a copy and not your original.

Archive/save your original so if you mess up no problem.

Yeah pretty much what I figured, I rather have AIFF and other format compatibility than Pong and a screensaver, somebody feel me? The is my war machine aint no playing when im on the MP its all business. If it could read various file formats it would eliminate all of my other converting, chopping, etc. software. Good idea wrong time. Guess it will be available when im 50+?

the mpc1000 dont have processing power to be used as a sound font player and why would u want compressed samples if they are only goin to annoy u big time when it comes to semitone and cents...ya undo works its just not a feature for all features yet... always make a back up of ur original sound..

Good point Naugie, but I use MP3 loops sometime as a tempo guide or groove reference. They rarely make the final track they are just reference. And I only just asked about Soundsfonts because I had the entire Motif soundset in SoundFont2 format (the Motif sounds are crazy beautiful, haha). But anyway, sometime I convert to MP3 and back to wave those sounds that sound too "perfect" (My own personal choice of bitrate changing). But its not the end of the world. Anybody heard anything about or used one of these Numark turntables that has the usb output and the built-in preamp? That will help eliminate clutter on some folks tabletop like mine. Appreciate yalls input, keep up the good work and keep bangin' (on the pads & keys)! Im Gone -SIN 8)
