Dayum I can post on forums through my mobile dope!

Back to the drives though, I'm interested in 4 maybe 5 drives. Do they come with all cables to connect to 60's and 3K's? Mine are UK voltage MPC's will this affect the drives if I install them intermally? Can u send me or post up some pics of them?

Just to clarify though: I would want to install them internally, do they have all fittings, screws cables etc. to do this?

Cheers

PCD-25 drives work with MPC3000/MPC3000LE machines ...

Read my previous threads discussing this very issue.

Thanks,

Rohan.

what about installing internally in the 60?

I assume you need the SCSI upgrade to do it

You will need a MARION SYSTEMS SCSI board for any SCSI communication to be realised on an MPC60/MPC60MK2 ... ( ASQ10 also ).

I should've phrased that better! I knew the SCSI was a necessity, but what I was trying to get at was wether it could be installed internally?

Has anyone managed to fit a multi card reader internally into their 60?
By Chief Sat Oct 28, 2006 6:14 pm
you can hook it up eternally just like any device.
I don't recommend it though except when you do intensive travelling.

you'll need an internal exernal scsi convertor, male>male gender changer and ribbon cable.

you can find all the info here : http://www.mpc3000.com/zip_install.htm
(thanks to mike goins)

a cardreder would be connected just like the internal zip
only zip sucks.
