Just got the MPC-1000 this weekend. Really happy, will be happier once I get used to it, this is my first Akai, I've been an Ensonic user for a little over a decade. I must say after having the 1000 for one day I could lay out tracks SOOO much easier than with my old Ensoniq. Those pads are very life like and easy to use. I droppped some .wav's on the card. tried loading them into the 1000. Sometimes they'll load and I'll a **** up sound like it's playing everything at once. Sometimes it will play just fine. But what usually happens is I get a "END OF FILE" message when I try to load the sample. The files are basic .wav files of drums. Any thoughts?

if you get the error, load it again. most times i dont get the error if i just reload.
