who said the so called jj isnt working for akai allready?
maybe its just a cover to keep in touch with the community.
or maybe its part of the scheme to sell the finished OS with the included userslist database to akai for big $.
just a speculations... im pleased with my 1k eitherway anyhow

I've no idea what Akai will do but one thing is sure.
If JJ doesn't work for them so he had to pay a licence to use the original OS in a commercial way. In that case we are also all outlaw!

Akai makes money with their hardware. As long the MPC1000 is current, they are selling these without putting much efforts in new software. So, why shooting JJ down? He pretty much put the hype in the 1000 what was before a buggy beast. Makes the 1000 much more desirable.
