Harddrive / RAM installation

what up,

hey just tryin to get some advice on installing RAM and Harddrive into my 1k.

i was told i need to by some bracket, HDM 10 or somethin. is that for the RAM or the drive?

Can i put these in myself easily enough?

i'm sure this has been talked about heaps, but i tryed a search and had no luck.

so cheers in advance for any help.

the bracket is for the hard drive. cant speak from experience on it as i do not have one installed. but for sure the ram is very easy to install and extremely nice to have.

you can easily do both tasks.

as said above, i installed both in less than 10 minutes

how do i do it?
i figure the ram slot's under the little hatch on the back, no probs there.

but the bracket, the harddrive, where do these go, how do they go in?

but, as i said before, the RAM install is
no probs. I'm just not sure about the harddrive
and the bracket, whereabouts they need to
slot in. and i don't wanna pay some sucka
to do work that, according to most, the user
can safely perform. my warranty's already
void so...

if anyone has any vids/pics etc on how to
do this, that'd be well wicked.

to install the hd you unscrew 4 screws on the front of the machine.
slide the hd into the bracket
slide the bracket into the machine
thats it.
there are instructions with the bracket.
the ram is exactly like installing laptop memory. slide it in, press it down so it snaps in.
