Backlight cold?

Aight. My MPC sits in front off a window. I just moved my whole studio around a few weeks ago to accomadate a 16 track mixer. Now when I start up my MPC, it seems crazy dark then gets better in a few mins. Its not the contrast. (shift+datawheel). I think that maybe I should move it and it will clear up. How does the MPC function when it is in cold weather ie. sittin in a car for a night in winter? Just curious if anyone had any problems due to this.

I dont know about that one but I use to have the scsi cdrom near a window and sometimes it would not read or load properly I had to wait like warming a car in the winter time yaknow........but I would say that you should keep her away from the window because machines have a tendency to react to different climates.......she should be cool after a while
