My Mpc froze while saving...guess what i did...

Opened it, took the HD out while it was still running.
It returned to the mainscreen and i saved the beat to the flashcard.
Put the HD back in, formatted it and and put my stuff back on.

haha that's one way to work around the saving bugs

Not very likely to short anything, but its definately not clever.

If the harddisk is finishing off writing something to the disk, or if its hung copying something to the disk, then that data could become corrupt.

Even worse, you could destroy some of the boot / header info on the disk and then its all gone.

Not recommended at all. Having said that - thats nice work, I may try it next time it hangs.
