I seem to really love this mchine now, sounds no better or different then a 2000 since ive compared. anyone else feel the same way? too much bitching and whining in this section. the 2500 is a beauty!

i hug my every night :) and i have some black pads on the way to make it a bit more stealth like... also will be replacing the q link sliders with some black tips as well :)

im on 1.1 and all works fine for me except it doesnt record the lowest and highest octave.. other than that :)

now that I think more to your question... i think we ALL LOVE the 2500! we just push the shit out of it and would benefit from some mods and OS updates

exactly, once you figure out the lil sciences that differ from the other mpc's people were on or if you hadnt even used an mpc before. Its definitely a favorite of mine. Plus that black is soooooooooooooooooo damn dope

The 2000 was my first when it first came out. Then I sold it a couple years ago had a Machinedrum. Now having the 2500 is a beautiful machine. I still love all the midi record features etc. Now direct record is even better.

as it goes if someone just buys an mpc for the first time (as i did back in the day, and as i've read some others having done so here), if you don't fall in love with it there's something wrong with your head, fingers, or both

i have to agree with ya,ll i love my 2500,its my 1st mpc i have been debating about geeting a mpc for several but didnt get one because my keyboards had so many features i swore i didnt need one(kurzweil and triton studio) but i got the 25k my workflow and output have increased 10x over, i have some saving and loading issues (wrongfile error) but i have no regrets at all,i just have to start incorporating my keyboards along with the unit because they,re staring collect dust and i need the basses, strings piano,s etc
