Just got some krk rp-8 monitors and wondering which cables i should use to connect the mpc 1000 ? (XLR, TRS or RCA) ?

trs is your only option to plug into the mpc. at least on mine. there is a digital output as well, but i just use a pair of 1/4" instrument lines to my interface

ah i meant on the monitor speakers 
on the back of each one is a balanced XLR/TRS input and unbalanced RCA input.

gotcha, i have a pair of maudio bx8a's and am using the xlr to trs. they sound great so i would have to go with that.

hey guys i dont what the importance is on purchasing phono balanced or unbalanced cables.. what are the advantages? and how do u tell what u need if say the outputs on one gear is different than what the mpc100 supports hopw do u make the right desicion on cables? what will i notice in new cables?
