whats your threshold set at?

what are you guys setting your thresholds at when recording directly to the mpc?

i always set the treshold lo0w as possible..if its guitar and i get alot of the noise from the amps distortion ill then crank up the treshold... its really about capturing that downbeat.. it doesnt matter what the treshold is ur still gonna have to cut the latency out from the tip of the beggining sample anyways... the only difference is the higher the treshold is the less u have to travel to find the downbeat...if its to high u could find urself ontop of the boom or passed the boom and ur at the bap from the boom bap boom bap.
