MPC1000 and EVOLUTION 249C KEYBOARD! Help

Hello evryone
I am an absolute beginner in the MPC1000 wonderful machine.This 35 year old man just has experience as a piano teacher and years and years
of listening experience.I just got for free an EVOLUTION 249C Midi Controller in a thrift store! It has no drivers, nothing.I want to use it but I do not know what to do next after I have plugged it in.It shows me options such as OMNIA A, OMNIA B, and so on. What should I do next to make MPC 1000 sounds sound in the keyboard and viceversa?

sir first u must forget the computer if thats what u want to do...... if u want to play the sounds of an mpc program from your keys then hook the midi out of the keyboard to the midi inA on the mpc and load a program and turn the keys on......... then go to type and select midi instead of drum and go to midi and select channel 1 or all and play it from the keys!!!!! but your program must be cromatically assigned on the mpc 1-64 so you get the right notes... 1-64 on the keyboard...... if u need some already programed programs then just pm me and i'll give u sum to get u started just tell me what instruments!!!
