i dunno what mpc 1000 that guys got...but when i go into trim then edit...my edit choices are different...i dont have delete and all that....i got discard,extract and normalize...thats it....so no timestretching for me yet......

ya u runnin old version of the os
ull need to go to akaipro.com click on support then click on operating system 2.01 or u can check out the jj os here on the forums.. its up to u from here on out

I saw this Video a few months ago and tried the patchphrase / timestretch thing directly. And the thing is, it didn't work. The info spreaded in this video, that the mpc 1000 could do this - plus do it in real-time as mentioned there is strictly false info... THIS DOES NOT WORK!!!

pp is nothing new its older than rex ,its been around for eons actually...i dont understand how u guys can diss it.. its really a great feature im just not understanding how u all dont like it?? am i missing somthing?? how can u guys call it lazy?? its not easy if u dont know what ur doin...and yes u have to have the correct tempo otherwise it wont work at all correctly...

YES YOU ARE IN FACT MISSING SOMETHING: It is not about pp being whack or dissin it, it is about a cerain feature which doe not work, which is REALTIME TIMESTRETCHING of patched Phrases.... check the youtube link above to see what peeps are talikng about...
