Yesterday I contacted JJ because I wanted to know if they got a template or something for their new screenshots in bitmap format, so I can incorporate it in the manual to make it more offiical-looking. I received an answer and they told me, that they implemented a hidden feature to make screenshots of the display which will be stored on the Memory Card:

1. Goto [MIDI] page.
2. Press F6.
3. Press TAP TEMPO.
4. Press BANK C.
5. Press BANK A.
6. Press BANK D.
7. Press BANK B.

A screen copy function becomes effective now.

Press [UNDO SEQ] to make a screenshot.

Yes I have and it works... you need Version 4.0 for this

Q: how does it Look?
A: Looks like a B&W photocopy of what you see on the display. I tried to upload some screens at flicker.com, but it doesn't work with bitmaps. You will realize that it works when you see the next relese of the manual. I AIN'T Bull***tin' ya'll

Can't wait for the manual! You should send it to JJ, I bet he'd host it on his site.

dope as hell , now we can easily show jj nice redesigns of certain screens, I'm gonna get photoshop out and redo the track mute screen i think it can look a lot better as well as GRID could use a few small tweaks to make the most of the screen size. anyway this is how the screenshots looks if you haven't seen it before (unedited)
