I plan on buying a motif to add to my mpc. Question is. How do I record on protools what I played on the motif which is hooked up to the mpc?

You take the OUTS from the MPC and the MOTIF to the soundcard INPUT. Now u can record sound from both into Protools or whatever recording software you are using.
