the 500 only has 12 pads.they are the same size as the 1000's pads I believe.

exactly thats what i said.. i posted it twice the first one was an accident .. i said 16 instead of 12..

and yes the p[ads are exactly the same as the 1000 and the 2500... and the 1000 are the exact same pads as the 2500...

The pads are different on the 2500 and the 500. I own both of them.

The pads on the 500 are smaller than the pads on the 2500 and less sensitive.

wow! from reading through this thread, it seems the MPC Half-K really IS for kids.......

......Yeah it's like a loaded wepon, kids think their mature enough to handle them. Us being responsible adults have too smack these kids in the head and let them know "you go around thinking that's a toy your gonna kill yourself or somebody".... some kids lack common sense like that, no matter how many times you tell them they just don't get it.
