You wouldnt be interested in selling your mpc? Im looking for one at the moment. I can live wit out all da extras.

But um if u rely heavily on doing your beats within in the mpc then the XL wont help u as much(resampling that is) due to the 32mb. I say go for it only if u know it will be beneficial to you.

haha i cant live without an mpc thas my main brain to my whole studio , its really setting me off for the 32mb thats the only thing i'm really worried about , cuz i do everythin on the mpc .....i record my sequences on main out and i sample in big chuncks like i said before , plus when i keybaord alot of my stuff i creat alot so its goin to be hard on 32mb i know i wont get it all out of it . Im not on the urge of usin computer to record , im too used to the mpc and i like it that way cuz i work way faster , but ionoe haha i jus wanna see what other might think :D

but how much are u offering for the 1000 ? u can pm for that

-I'm still considering of keepin my 1k but right im jus tryin to get some ideas . thanks nicole !

Why do you want the 2000 xl? and not, for example, the MPC2500?

don't go backwards,go forward, get the 2500.I had the XL and it is real good,but..... once you get into it,you'll start trying to figure out how to transfer your samples and programs faster. So if you do decide to get the xl,then get the program for the xl ,so you can create programs on the PC. 8)

i got the mpc2000xl and i dont have that problem because i dont load sounds i use reason redrum and click the first box set my tempo to 100 and runs threw thousands of samples on my PC hard Drive in minutes...

and then i sample all my drum kits into the mpc2000xl so loading sounds aint a problem //also i have a internal card reader and a PC with a Internal Card Reader so sample transfers aint no problem

the only thing i want another mpc1000 for is mono programs i dont care about ram and dont care about hard drives or jj OS and all that ish just want mono programs if the 2000xl had that it would be the mpc to keep forever
