Standard MPC1000 Soundset

Are the 20mbs of sounds on the compact flash card that come with the MPC1000 any good?

the kits are lame. don't try to buy "kits" i would suggest buying records. there is also a 300 breaks kit. google the term "300 breaks" (make sure to use quotes) and the word "observ" (as in djobserv) to find a working link to 300 breaks that you can chop and make your own kits out of.

look for where it says free samples.

i agree 100% with nym. even in fl i used to use presets. but now i hate them. create your own kits, youll feel better knowing that you tweaked or layered that snare or kick yourself.
