mpc1000 with recycle

anyone been successfull sampling with recycle then importing programs / samples through USB to MPC1000? i saw the recycle - mpc2000xl article but what about the mpc1000 through the usb?

yes, i've been using recycle to do my chopping and then tranfering to the MPC via the usb option. there's an export option in recycle that allows me to send my slices to my desktop in .wav format. then i just place them into the MPC drive which is mounted on my desktop. it's really simple. you can't however record with recycle, so you'll need other software. use your DAW or one of the many freeware options (Audicity works fine). i've found that Abletons Live sounds good. it has a lot of editing options (minus reverse) and sample mutations is very intuitive.

i use a MAC but assume the process is similiar for PC's. anyway, i hope this helps.

Use it all the time with a CF reader, it does not matter which MPC you use.
