2500 as seq how to record the audio

Ok so i use alot of standalone vst's to make beats now what i have been doing was saving the midi seq in the 2500 and then bring it over to cubase or sonor 6 now is there away to record the audio out of the vst back into say cubase or sonar wit the standalone still open or would i need to record it into like a dig recorder

I would of thought it was possible - guess it depends on your sound card or device in your PC doesnt it?

or just record to MPC then transfer file back to PC via USb?

well i have 2 delta 1010 cards but i don't just want the 2 track stereo i want them tracked out so if anyone has the answer to this thanks so what i would want to do is route the audio out of lets say hypersonic then record it into say sonar but with the mpc as the seq.

2 x 1010? Bloody hail, you should be able to do it yar.

Take the Hyper output, route using Cubase to the output of 1 of the 1010's, then re-direct that straight bak in to the input of the other 1010 (just because you got 2). Then setup (arm) an Audio channel in Cubase for recording, select the 1010 Input you plugged the cable in to.

Im guessing you MIDI sync is up and running.

Hit play and watch that Wav get created.

ok but heres the thing i don't want to load the hypersonic in cubase i want to leave it stand alone the from there into cubase with just the audio signal thats it

My best advice is have a play. Do it in stages.

Can you get sound output from stand alone Hyper?
Can you route the sounds back in? Ccnfirm using DElta Control Panel.
Can Cubase pick up the input?
