Directory Error notice when trying to save a Program

I've had my 2500 for a couple of weeks now. Typically when I sample in. I chopshop it then convert it to sliced samples and make it a new program. And then I would save the program later. That has worked before, I can load up all the new programs (all of 4) and have no problem. Now I do the same thing and as soon as I press "DO IT" I get a pop up reading "Directory Error!!!" Why is this doing this now? I don't get it! And it's stalling my progress. PLEASE HELP..

Your problem could be something to do with the way you sort your file structure. Every project you create should be in a seperate folder on the Root drive. There are work arounds. Have a search for "Wrong AND File".

THere are a couple of things 412.

Make sure you are on the latest OS, although thats a debateable issue due to OS problems. http://www.akaipro.com/support.php
Make sure you read that manual dude, and the addemendments.

I was able to solve the problem by simply re-formating the CF. No one ever told me I had to Format the CF to begin with. I think that was the problem. So far so good. Still backing everything up.

If you read the manual you would know that you had to format the CF card. Make sure when you get a HD that you read the manual.
