2kxl to cubase sx

2kxl to cubase sx

I have problem, getting my mpc to sync with cubase, how can you get these to sync together ,I used the midi set up, but when I,try to play the mpc, it always says waiting for midi play, somebody out here tell me what's wit dat

I want cubase to be the master, here my set up ,m-audio 2496 sound card a behringer 1204 eurorack mixer,cubase sx,mpc2000xl I was wondering do I need something else, let me know what's up?

so ...
you have audio from the PC going into the 1204 eurorack mixer
as well as audio from the MPC and you want to use cubase to control the MPC via midi .. from what you said you have you can hook it up like this

midi out m-audio card >>>> midi in MPC
midi out MPC >>>> midi in m-audio card

then goto cubase ... set global MIDI to mtc send set MPC to recieve MTC
this should allow you to start cubase and the MPC will start as well ..
