Loading new OS, HD and CF card

I want to load the latest JJ OS, but I know this formats the drives. I want to install a new HD and larger CF card as well. What is the process?

Do I install HD and CF one at a time or together? If one a t a time, what order?

I do not want to mess this up, so I'm asking. Thanks.

The OS installation doesn't format the cards, or your drive. However, they do recommend doing a format once it's installed, as part of the process required to eliminate file saving problems in the older versions of the OS.
