2000xl owner reads instructions

can anyone help me under satnd this.?
i load up sounds to pads. all ok
all connections all ok
all pads ok.
I follow details in instructions so as to record.
in the fitst example i couldnt get into the change bars screen.

so i tryed second example

the screens matched what was in instructions.

it says to
hold down rec and over dub

then the metro sound plays...

nothing happend.


is it a common newbie user prob or with unit.?


does anyone know a good instruction dvd for this unit???

i just got it out the box for the first time-- read manual (not very well) the tryed some things...

my next problem is the click sound

my one sounds knaackered so i tryed using a drum beat instead
the only instead of recording a loop
the bars section goes up. this doesnt happen when using the click sound (it keeps to the inputed four bars for example.

Try to read up on English grammar 'cause I don't understand what the heck you're going on about.
