Free CD-R

I was looking on the Akai web site about the free cd-r promotion they have but i cant find the terms in contidions, well there written in letters for ants at the bottem but i cant see it. Does ne 1 know if this applies to purchases outside of the USA, ie. Ireland. And also what do you need, a reciept and that is it, Im asking because im planning to buy a 2nd hand MPC and it comes with everything xcept the drive and it would be very useful, I presume he bought it in the UK. Ne help appreciated.

Yeah.......I'm not sure what month it had to be purchased in,but the terms and conditions are all on the pdf open it up and read the fine print at the bottom.

About a month and a half ago they were giving away the ram upgrade for free. I scored on that one!!1:wink:

To bad the offer isn't good with any other offers or I'd have that CD upgrade as well.

Maybe it's worth a try??

In Germany u can get it 2 with the free CD-M25 installed for the old price, but only this autumn.
But I still haven´t got the ... money to buy it now.

So u have to buy it new no then to have it installed. I got a good 2nd hand deal on one, i just thought that could be the icing on the cake. Thnx tho guys

Me either. ........did they change the dates on that or what?The way I remember it, it had to be purchased sometime in august- september.......I could be wrong though.

ya i saw the PDF document on 9/25/2006 what i did was i went to guitar center purchased a cable that was $4, went home and made a photocopy of the new receipt, got my old mpc receipt that i got on 10/18/2005 and made a photo copy of that. Then i cut a small hole where the date of purchase of my old akai receipt and slid the new receipt (that said 9/25/2006) under the hole of my old akai receipt and made a whole new photocopy. I mailed it in. Now 3 days ago i got a package from akai,
IT WORKED LOL !!!!!!!!!!! I PULLED ONE ON AKAI!!!!!!

way to go, you just publically admitted to fraud.

luckily i already got my free cd-r, so if akai stops the promotions due to situations like this, i won't be affected.

You don't get any cool points for snitching on yourself.....
