HELP with my HOME project studio.

Hello to ALL:

I have an MPC1000/KORG TR workstation/Monitors/small mixer. I will soon purchase a MIC and a turntable (for samples/sounds).I will like to buy Protools LE w/MBOX2 PRO. Can you give me advice before I invest the money into Protools?

I want a recording software that allows me to record midi/audio and vocals. I also want something that has good sounds/effects/plug ins etc. Does Protools come with any other type of sequencing program?Should I just do all the sequencing on my MPC?I am told that Protools is the way to go due to the fact that in the future if I'd like to take my work to a pro studio it can be used on the HD.

ANY help/suggestions/advice in this matter will be helpful. If you respond in reference to the PROTOOLS, please tell me its capabilities and how/what can I hook up to the MBOX2PRO.

Why would pro tools come with another sequencing program?

In the "bundle" package, I see alot of software, Abelton is one of them. Do they encorage to use that in conjunction with PT?Thats why I asked. NO, I'm not German. I'm a U.S. Soldier in the Army.
