Can someone help me out with my Maudio 2496?

I have an m- audio 2496, and im trying to hook it up to my comp. so that i can record my beats, can someone just tell me how to set up the cables and stuff like that?

did you even try reading the manual? or is this a shot at being lazy by asking questions?

after you have the drivers installed for the interface, you want to make sure that you have the instrument cables running from the outs of the mpc/keyboard to the ins of the interface. think of how the flow of audio is going to be. its coming out of the mpc/keyboard and into the audio interface. its as simple as that. im not sure which daw you are working with, but you will have to set it up so that you can hear the audio.

So i dont need midi?
