Saving it All once

What is the Best way to save all the data such as sounds, Midi data song data.
i want to be able to load (1) file and get back to where i was the night before.The manuel is a bit foggy on this item, or i am.
Any shortcuts out there

I doubt u can get all that in one file...u can save all ur data on one disk so u dont have to keep switching...thats all i can suggest

2 files.

ALL and APS.

The manual mentions nothing about "ONE file saves everything"
because the 2k/2kxl doesn't do that. You are stuck with
saving ALL and APS.

I only save .ALL files for Midi sumps and Songs. I just reload my programs and assign them to the correct tracks. This is what I do, really there is no correct way. It's just what works for you. I usually don't do save PGMS unless I have chopped a sample and created one.

cmon now it takes about 3 seconds to save .all and .aps

I am a bit Impatient these days.
So when you load a song you must load .aps and also .all to get back to the correct Data and sounds?
