Ability to sample a Sequence?

is it possible to sample a 2 bar sequence written on the 4000 so i can have it in WAV form to upload to the CPU?

just go into record choose master output(i think thats the way its wriiten) for the source and just sample it

You can sample a whole song and transfer it to your computer to upload on-line...

Only thing you can do is sample a sequence whilst using realtime fx (knob twiddling). I think anyway......

i've routed to the Main Out on the RECORD page and have had luck sampling whole sequences without the need of effects but what gets me is that the gain is all screwy.

if it's all passed internally why isn't it just a straight digital transfer to WAV format? i don't need to run 1/4" out or anything, but it seems like it shouldn't need a re-adjustment of the gain after i've sampled all the info and recorded the midi performance data.

i don't know if i'm missing something, but it seems like it should just be able to make a data/audio conversion of what's it's already processed with a simple command like "Convert <SEQUENCE A> TO <WAV/MP3/WMA>".

it's not the end of the world or anything, but i'd love to keep it as clean as possible.

I`m not sure but, you may have to adjust the gain when you are resample just in case you may have turn up the amplitude or velocity while you were
programming. As far as converting straight into a wav file function, I don`t know, but see if you can figure out something using aksys?

i've had some luck re-adjusting the gain but AKsys is a good idea. maybe there's something i can do with software...i'll write if i find anything>
