Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Ok it got me!!!! Lamp, I have searched the forums and I know that i will be getting a mcd, or at least a cf reader. My question is does anyone know of a place close to Wash. dc that will install it for me once i get it? preferably a place that will sell it and install it.....I can't save nothing folks and i am going thru withdrawal...thanks in advance for any help.
btw I am not afraid to do it myself, i just want to be sure It is done propely the first time.

if you know anyone who is good with fixing electronic gadgets, like computers, have them do it. I replaced my zip drive myself with no trouble at all. Since you have a zip already installed, all you have to do is swap out the drive(no clipping wires). Instructions on how to do so are littered on this forum.

there is a spot in Wheaton, MD called "protech". It's right down the street from chuck levins. Their shop is literally like 2 doors down.....they fix music equipment.....

dgny is right, I did the same thing, I went from sloppy, to zip, to mcd.

i know zips are almost killed off but can we get a campaign going to erradicate them slips. cuz damn i know i done lost a gang sounds and beats messin with those traps.
