Anybody else have this problem?click/pop?Please help!!

I use the main outs to record my beat and i track out with usb. Whenever i play a track made on the 2500, theres always like a click/pop right before the track plays. Before i track out i play the track on the 2500 and it doesn't have that sound but when i play it back on I-tunes or windows media player or cd, theres always that sound before the beat starts. I had the 4000 and i never had that problem. Its not long, it just comes on right before the track starts playing. Could it be something with the threshold settings. I tried recording with the threshold at different levels and no matter what its always that damn sound. I just got the 2500 4 days ago and i've been getting around this problem by importing all my tracks into adobe audition and using the click and pop remover. Will doing that deteriorate some of the sound quality of the tracks? All help is appreciated.

Somebody, anybody have any kind of suggestions? I would really appreciate it. 22 people have read but not one has left a comment?

I have heard about this, but never experienced it myself. If you search, you should find a ample amount of info on this topic.

this is exactly what ive been dealing with. Do u think using a pop and click remover on the tracks will affect the sound quality. It dosent click through teh whole track just right before it starts. Im calling akai on monday and tearing them a new **** cuz dis shit is unacceptable.

I clean my samples some times with a clean up program, so it shouldn't hurt.

I would first try reducing my Master Output level to -42db's and try restarting the seq at each incremental level all the way to 0db's to see if it shows at the various setings.

The thing is it doesnt happen when im playing the beat on the mp only after i usb transfer and play it back on pc or cd. What i did was resample the beat each time with a different global setting and whether its 0,-6, or -12, when i transfer it to the pc, it still has that click/pop right before the beat starts.
