So if he just told you yes or no, would that suddenly give you the magic answer that trumped all million billion of the previous posts on this topic?
Would it?
Why?
Last time was:

...and you can see where that went. The design of the pads has so far not changed. The problem is one of proper and sufficient application of glue to the inside pad surface, which has obviously varied between production runs if not individual units. From what I can remember, the worst
seemed to be somewhere around the "second wave" after they started to get popular and the first wave sold out. At some point, production ramped up and the quality took a dive until they started to get too many complaints. At least, that
seemed to be what happened -- no way to verify it really. Blue vs. Black won't tell you anything for sure. I have an early run blue, and though I can't say with absolute certainty that all the pads have 100% consistent sensitivity, they've always worked well enough and so far have not let me down.
Buy it used, gotta test it. Buy a new black under warranty and it doesn't matter kuz you just send it back for a replacement. Same as anything else really.
Is that the magic answer you wanted? Are you happy? Will you now run off into the blue skied countryside of tomorrow's life with cute tweety birds chirping in your ears and singing hippy songs because you finally know the true answer and can go on?
