MIDI

wanted to pick yo brains, I have a issue id like to sort, I have currecntly the MPC 2kxl which has 2X midi out, midi 1 goes into a keyboard which I use for sounds I then run the thru from the keyboard into the midi in so I can control VST;s also. Midi out of the keyboard goes to the midi in of the MPC, with me so far?
midi out 2 on the mpc goes into my master sampler
problem is what if I want to use a sound on the keyboad as well as the VST. how can I go about it? the computer will not ONLY accept midi channel 1 it takes em all. could i get one of those Midi boxes for the pc? if so how is best to configure it? if you have a same set up this will be a doddle for you...

In your pc you need to define on which channels the vst must react. No need for an extra box whatsoever.
