I'm looking into the tascam fw-1804 right now. Some of the forum members seem to like it. It's not high-end but it looks like it's value for money.

Or buy an Mbox 2, thing is sick and very handy, aint even that expensive and you get Pro Tools LE 7. Some people hate Pro Tools, some love it, whatever you want, u know.

If you wanna buy it off eBay youll get it at $400 or maybe less, ZZounds sells is for $450, European price is about €450.

It depends on how much yo ureally wanna do with it, cehck what your use and just choose the right interface that goes with it, browse websites so you can also find out for yourself, youre the one thats gonna use it.

PS: If its too much you can check the regular Mbox too.
