Now that's so interesting **** right there. It's almost as if it has the samples in memory and just makes use of your computers sequencer/editor.

If it really is better than a 1000, I'll probably pick one up around x-mas.

I think the 16 levels only does 16 different velocity levels and you are thinking it does the 16 tuning levels.

That was my next question. What types of 16 levels does it do? Just velocity as madbeats mentioned or tuning and any other types...

sorry guys i been out lately been busy with freakin college

but soon my thanksgivin birdey day vacation is coming up lolz hope to find this gear before it and do some work on it during the break

but as i am reading all these post and stuff i don't think i will have my own till the end of dec.

frekin akai

i think they are collecting data of how many pre-order/order has each retail bizz has received. in order to estimate the popularity.

thats what i am guessing i mean they want to see how big is the market at the same time they are building all the hype.. just like new PS3..

in todays fast world u can produce atleast 2000 unit a day. if not more..

they are rolling out 1 car in 1 sec. why not MPD24

haha but i guess waiting will pay off.. 8)

thanks inf.. i think i will wait it out..

but sure would like to see some video review on it.

with both MPC and MPD on same table.. so we can see whats MPD like compare to MPC.

thats the main point. and all other features are same as u get in midi keyboard and stuff .. knobs/sliders/ MMC things.

but the main thing is how stable / sturdy it looks plus performs.

i have both you cant really compare them the mpd 24 is great though, im still trying to figure out the best way to program my drums on the computer to sound the way i want like the mpc. its def worth the money i just hope people will upload some presets cause the ones on there are iffy at the moment

Sonar 6 is ridonkulus.

Does anyone use their MPC as a midi controller? How hard is it to use an MPC1000 instead of the MPD24 to do the same thing?

Finally just went to GC today and they had one, so I grabbed it. The screen and the knobs though don't do anything though for me, I've installed everything and the pads play, but the LCD screen won't show the Program and the Knobs can't control anything in Battery. Any reason for this?
