wouldn't you?

i'm actually looking for a sequenced synth
(like electibe emx1/sfxmonomachine/emu xl7), but it's expensive and i love my mpc...but,
i really think it would be great to assign controllers (like bcr2000 or other) to mixer, effects, filters, lfos, pitch (all those things we have with slider mode)...

full midi implementation on the mpc would be nice, but realistically, i doubt it's possible on the 1k.

if you're looking for a new synth, buy whatever suits your needs and buy a midi keyboard controller like an axiom 49 with plenty of assignable knobs, faders, etc. and hook it up to the 1k, controlling whatever synth you want.

As stated before, I would really, REALLY love it if they would implement MIDI into simult....

I'd give $60 more bucks if jj would make it so that I could erase the samples in my internal memory and if I could use however much time I wanted for sampling long or short files, as long as I have the memory left we shouldn't have to get file to big errors.

i asked about erasing the internal memory, do a search for a thread titled "clear internal memory".

how do you get the file to big error? ive recorded 12minutes however many seconds worth of stereo samples. the entire 128mb. ive never seen that error before. are you trying to go over the 12 minutes? are you saving your samples after you record them and then purge it out of the memory? thats what i have to do. also, just a tip, dont use the entire 12 minutes cuz then you wont be able to chop. theres no room for anything else.

Oh yes, please, full midi implementation.

Jah-Jah, if you're still with us, help JJ to do that
