My schyt got stolen. MPC2000xl, hard-drive (5 years of beats) synths, sp-303, 24 track recorder, computer, and all that good stuff. I already know who did it. Broke up with that bytch saturday morning, equipment gone by Saturday night. No forced entry, and the alarm was disarmed. She was the only one that knew the code and had the keys. Anyways, I was BORED OUT MY MIND on Sunday, and Monday morning, I HAD to get another MPC. So I grabbed the 2500. Such a lovely beast. I like my XL more because after 6 years it just felt good, but this 2500 does everything I could have drempt for in the XL. Timestretching is much faster, effects are dope, realtime velocity/tune/filtering changes. I have barely used it (just got it yesterday evening) but I don't thing it will take long to transition. I'm not sure what OS I have, but I heard the newer ones place functions in easier to get areas. Looking forward to it.
Ohh well, just figured I would let you all know what was up. No sure if anyones cares but what the heck, it felt good just to type it out! :) Home insurance is a blessing. I thought it was a curse, but it may be a good blessing in disguise!

Good on you buddy. I'm sure you'll enjoy the 2500 as we all do. That sucks about your situation. Get after that.

:shock: WOW, that's some foul sh*t

Couple of things;

First she'll be back for the 2500 this weekend and second if your sh8t was any good she'll be selling your beats as well. :lol:

If you actually paid for the gear yourself you should make a civil suit of it, take her *ss to Judge Judy or Judge Mathis. :wink:

Damn, that's fkn foul man. Go get your stuff back and beat that bytch into the dirt, nah. Insurance is really a blessing in disguise. Glad you like your new machine. She'll get her dues one day from someone else.

go get yo 2kxl then beat her wit it till it falls apart.

this might take a while so bring three to four of your buddies to lend a helping hand when you get tired. :wink:

you wont miss your 2kxl because you got a 2.5k and the satisfaction of how iit broke would be compensation enough. 8)

Thanks fellaz for the good words. Believe me, it's been rough. Not mad about the beats, just kind of hard that someone could do this to ME. If you knew thisa girl, then you'd understand. She is definately not the type to do anything like this. Anyways, I haven't got the gear back yet, yes I do have home insurance so I guess all is good. Deep inside I want to do something about this, but then I'd be sinking to her level and I'm not about to go to jail for some equipment. Trust me, the anger is there, but I'm holding it back. I know what's right and what's wrong.
Anyways, just got the computer today so I wanted to update everyone. Haven't had too much timeto get down on the 2500, but from what I've done on it, it's definately a beast. I'll try to come up with some goodness in the next few days.
Thanks again fellaz!
