Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By Pairanoid Wed Nov 08, 2006 12:11 am
what up, after Djing for 5 years and at the age of 19 i finally decided that i want to make beats for fun, and whatever happens...happens, what that said i got my eye on 2 options the mpc 2000 and the 2000xl, i searched the forums and found alot of good things like the compairson chart someone posted, but what i want to know is, as of making beats is the 2000xl and the 2000 the same? if i get the 2000 will i have to upgrade in 2 years? also what causes lines on the screen? i can get a 2000 classic at my local pawn shop for 500$ with the 8 outputs on the back, sorry for all the questions its just a hard choice.

No

Extreme amounts of paranormal activity within the vicinity of your lab

If you took time to read the through the manuals and OS addendums of each machine it wouldn't be a hard choice at all. So instead, go with the popular and experienced advice here and get an XL.

I won't go into detail cause it's been explained many times in these pages on this forum, but, to make a long, tired and repeated story short, just get the xl and be done with it.
