Can the MPC1000 do these things?

yo thank you for the pgm's! i was able to dl all of them except for the sample sets to the pine piano and flute pgms. it said i didnt have permission on this server.

how strange! I've just downloaded the ZIPed samples again right now, they're definitely up. Can you go in at http://samplearena.host.sk/ ? They're the very last two links on that page...

Could it be the One Shot setting? From manual pg 56:

"Note: If you set the pad to ONE SHOT in the PROGRAM mode, the MPC1000 will play the sample assigned to that pad like when the loop is off, even when the loop feature is on. When you use the loop feature, set the pad’s play mode to NOTE ON. For more information, see the “Playing the sample while the pad is being hit” section in the page 59."
