honestly, i don't think it's a good description to claim that the jj os is "like the 2500 os"

it offers two similar features, and IMO the jj grid is hugely superior to that of the 2500. note lean in grid while still on the TC mark? awesome.

however, there's way more that is not included in the 2500, like the majority of all the qlink stuff that just got put in which allow you to get much closer to being able to use your mpc like a out and out sampler. i'm thinking in particular of the qlink start/end.

okay. after the ordeal with updating to 2.10 i feel reluctant to update straight away. although if updating to the jj os is going to change volume levels etc then it may be something which is better to do sooner rather than later.

try out the beta, it is in one of the stickies in the OS 3 forum.
