suggestions???

hey i got an mpc 1000 and a cd turntable. cant really do what i want yet with these 2 things. what else do u suggest i get??

What do you try to achieve ? Firstly you've got to know that,then you can start thinking about what you need to get to this 'point'.
Some people don't even have an mpc or a cd player/turntable and they are making cool stuff - just pc software I mean.
So...what's your direction ??

thats an easy question ,just buy a korg triton, roland fantom, midi that with a mv-8000, and a juno keyboard, then run the whole thing thru a mpc 60 for a grimy sound, then save everything on the mpc 500, then mix everything on a Roland VS2400CD Digital Multitrack Recorder.

what are you using for sounds? are you strictly sampling from the cd turntable or do you use sound libraries? i'd try to learn as much about the gear you have before you go buying something else.
