Distortion???

I have imported a track part by part from logic into the MPC but the bassy sounds, Kicks and bass seem distorted when i turn the master level of the MPC up. should i re-sample these parts but make them quiter when i create the wav files?

lower your internal master output and bring up the gain on your mixer or speakers! Peace!

I had my master output setting a 0db, is there a setting you would recommend?

the whole db thing is a bit out of my knowledge base at this point in time.
