Ive been trying for a while now to get the mpc to control acid.

I can get acid to control the mpc with start/stop functions and i can control vst`s in acid using the pads on the mpc and record midi etc

Ive followed the manual for the mpc and selected sync out but when i press play on the mpc acid doesnt play :(

... Any ideas?

Remember you have to send midi clock to acid to control ,make sure midi out is going to midi in of interface (soundcard) and then check your midi port coming into acid. 8)

I have one of those simple one in one out USB midi interfaces and when i hook my Novation controller or MPC up to it i get nothing.

I have looked in the midi tabs of the preferences and i have no idea how to get either of them to work.

I can't get the controller to control the VST's that i have on tracks in acid.

it won't do anything at all and i can't figure out how to tell acid to recognize the keyboard.

i had the controller connected via USB to the PC.
