No MIDI-OUT on MPC?

HYY

I just hooked up my MPC 1000 midi-out to my midi-interface and tried to use the MPC as a hardwarecontroller for Cubase.
There was actually no signal recieved by Cubase.
Is there no midi-out on MPC or is it a matter of configuration?
If so how do I switch it on?

this isnt a jj os question. you should check out the regular 1000 forum, but try a search on "midi" first.

there is a midi out, i dont know anything about cubase, but in fl studio you have to enable your midi device by going to the midi settings page. i can sequence midi no problem so the option is there.

if you want to send midi data. you have to set a channel from DRUM to MIDI
then you can select the MIDI Channel (e.g. 1A. 12B, ...) and midi data will be sent on this channel
