How to set bass compress settings.

How can i set my bass compress settings so that my speakers don`t crack when i am programming the bass.

but set all your mixer levels correctly. then if you set your comp up proper it shouldnt be too much for the old speakers.

may even want to look in to multi band comp which gives you more control over the diff frequencies.
