i want buy a bigger compact flash card(512,1gb)what kind of card is better
for mpc2500? toshiba,akai or any card

any card. i got a SanDisk the Akai one and a cheep n chearful one.

check this thread also. i have been using a micro drive they are cheaper on ebay and you get up to 8gb i currently use a 4gb one from an old ipod mini. search ebay for a microdrive cf

To update this thread I placed the 4gb micro drive in the 2500 and it read 3560mb and it shows 3.61gb on the computer when i press the usb button. these are much cheaper than cf cards and may not be bad for back ups. they can be easily obtained from dead ipod mini's check the link thats 4gb for under $15 :D

I know i keep posting but i would like others to try in other models to see what they come up with. I was told earlier that the 2500 woudnt reconize a card over 2gb but in fact it does
