can anyone tell me how to install the 8 outs?

Surprise.... the manual!

Seriously, its right in there. Once you've opened the bottom, you could probably figure it out without it, its a real simple install.

It really is. I once had to transfer the 8-outs from one MPC to another; got it done in under 10 minutes.

im still having trouble. what do i unskrew? what do i take off?

If you still having trouble just take it to a local music store or computer shop. On the XL all u have to do is remove all the screws on the bottom and insert it. Also make sure you remove the 8 outs cover plate that actually covers up the holes where the outs will stick out. Real simple but when in doubt or still confused you should let someone who knows what they are doing do it to save you from messing up your MPC. My two cents.
