I dont think just lowering the bit rate will make your 1000 sound like a MPC60 or a sp12. Would be great but i think its one of those thing sthat is hard to emulate like, If you just lower your bit rate in a daw it sure doesnt sound like a SP.

I agree, but it gives more tools in the toolbox.

why doesn't JJ makes some buttons named : DJ Premier, Jay Dilla, Madlib, Pete Rock and sh1t.. wenn u press it you get that sound automaticly! yeahhhh

yeah, i guess. you could always get a different sound from it too. In 15yrs people may talk about the legendary JJ MPC1000 bit reduction. Then again there wont be a working 1k pad left in exisatance....
