i just submitted a bug report, i am sure if you submit yours then JJ will soon fix it :)

btw are you saving in a new folder, or autoload, or overwriting an existing folder ?

I am attempting to save to an existing folder. I'm quite lazy so I usually prefer ot just save entire memory so that I can load everything back up when I need to.

I will start saving new project files from now on, even though I shouldn't have to.

I'll also submit this to JJ

oh, and it might be helpfull if people in this thread could state if they are saving to a hard disk, or a smartmedia and which size ? this might be related to the bug (or not...).

i am using a smartmedia 256Mb, formatted with the new os.

i'm saving to a 40 gig hard drive.

i always save entire mem, often over an old folder.

ever since he fixed up the saving bug, i haven't had a problem with that.

ALTHOUGH, when i'm on my blank, freshly booted mpc, and attempt to create a new program, i sometimes get a program w/ a question mark in front of it.

one more clue, thx nym.

we need more feedback from people who saved a lot of projects and are sure they have or not this bug.

it seems to happen actually a lot to me now that i realized it. quite a pain in the neck.
i also noticed that one of the 2 .IPT files is often not saved. thats alright since i don't use input thru, but still...

hopefully JJ can fix it soon if we can send him enough clues

up!

animalclub and es-k, are you saving on smartmedia or harddisk ?

anybody else got anymore feedback ?
i would have thought that a bug in "save" would be serious enough to attract more answers...

cheers :)
