maybe loading a blank project would clear your memory?

Yea, I know what you mean... it could be cause I'm so use to computers that don't like being shut down suddenly.

ONLY do this if u wanna delete everything jus delete all programs and press purge it miight take some time though

go into trim mode - delete all samples
go to pgms - delete all pgms
go to seqs - delete all seqs
go to songs - delete all songs
"quick" and "easy" but not necessarily convenient

Just load any sample and select clear so it clears memory and loads the sample . Then you just delete this one sample and everyhtibng is clear .

1) when you turn on your machine and there is nothing loaded just save the entire memory.
2) call it "blank.prj" (or whatever the hell you want)
3) then you just load that project ("blank.prj") whenever you want to clear
the mpc memory, and everything will immediately be erased and cleared out!!!
screw waiting around for purging files or deleting everything individually!!
this method always takes LESS than a second to do regardless
of how many samples you have loaded up, and it gets rid of EVERYTHING...

you could fill it w/ a chromatic pgm, a levels pgm, and some other nice presets too
