Hey, why all the hating?

The answer is simple, but this guy doesn't know it yet.

Yes!

Yeah it is worth it - software wise i dont think id be wrong in saying it makes the 1000 equal the 2500 and maybee even go past it at the minute....

this may all change though as jj is working on the 2500 also

it was just a simple question so chill. don't have too be a ass about it. i ain't trying too find or start drama up on the boards. so just grow up and leave the bashing behind

no, it's not a simple question. it's more like an ignorant question. did you even look at any of the dozens, even hundreds of threads dedicated to the new os? and the version 3.o is free so you could decide for yourself before you spend your 30 dollars.

like dude.. whois asking the DUMB questions ?

I do not think that it is a big deal to ask a question like that. After all, there is lots of info out here, but to filter through these topics is not trivial.

To answer your question: I personally believe that the 4.xx Version is worth the money. The workflow is improved what alone is worth the update. In addition you will get many features of the 2500, that you might not need at the current point, but that will be helpful in the future when you are more familiar with the unit (e.g grid edit, auto tune, etc.).

The best thing is that JJ is fixing the bugs of the Akai OS as well!!!
